Ask for advice: some questions about front-end / data analysis job hunting

I made my resume at night, couldn"t sleep, and posted in the early morning, just for a better future!

< hr >

I graduated from a 211 university in Nanjing in 16 years and majored in information and computing science. Now I work in a state-owned military enterprise, engaged in aircraft design-related work, and recently plan to switch to front-end design or data analysis. Sincerely ask experienced seniors what problems they need to pay attention to.

< hr >

Let"s talk about my situation first:

  • University major: information and Computing Science;
  • main disciplines: computer science and technology {C/CPP, algorithms and data structures, software engineering models and methods, computer networks, operating systems, etc.; Mathematics {numerical solution of differential equations, numerical algebra, numerical approximation and computational geometry, mathematical analysis, probability theory, etc.
  • when he was in school, he won a scholarship, worked as deputy editor of the Youth Daily, and was an assistant to the employment guidance service center of the school. Summer vacation mainly engaged in catering, financial customer service part-time, then lack of experience, but also limited to family conditions, subsidies for personal living expenses, do not spray;
  • contact the front-end: the senior year began to contact the front-end because of doing a project of the performance appraisal system of the government construction unit, so he was more addicted to it, but because of the lack of contact time and even less understanding of the industry, he came to the current unit after graduation.
  • current situation: currently ranks the second in the W3Cschool experience score list, and the top 20 in the reading list. Basically all the FreeCodeCamp challenges except data structure problems have been completed. The front-end questions on Niuke app can have a correct rate of 80-90%.
  • at present, the main learning contents include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, JSON, Jquery, Bootstrap, Angular, React, SQL, PHP, Git, etc., as well as some knowledge of Photoshop, MySQL, Python, Linux, big data and so on. In terms of data, I have developed small application systems with MATLAB GUI and learned to use Excel VBa to do gadgets.
  • has segmentFault, Github and Nuggets accounts. At present, most of them are limited to reading other people"s columns. They have also learned a lot of courses through Mutu.com, NetEase Cloud, Tencent, 51CTO classes and so on.
  • in terms of experience, in addition to the mini application system developed with MATLAB GUI mentioned above, I have also tried to develop H5 app. In the current job, put forward the city science and technology project "web-based xx aircraft Interactive Electronic Technology Manual" declaration, planning and design, other work, and front-end development is not much related, mainly no practical work experience, no systematic front-end knowledge system, no online works, these may also be the most difficult at present.
  • personal job search intention: front-end development, data analysis.

these are some of my situations, and I would like to ask the experienced seniors / friends who pass by to give me some suggestions and front-end development requirements. I hope I can communicate with you more, recognize myself clearly, and put myself in the right position. I would appreciate it!
Sleepless tonight, just for a better future!

@ Zhi Xing first of all, thank you for your comments. As an industry veteran with ten years of development experience, I have full respect for you. You said that young people should be modest, even if you have ten years of development experience, you dare not write resumes in this way. I think I just put out what I can and some facts that can be proved, and I don't say that I am proficient in anything, that I am an expert in a certain field, on the contrary, I know that I have no online work, no real work experience, lack of systematic knowledge system, and so on, in the front-end field, which is the reason why I have not resigned from the aircraft Design Institute at present. I have not resigned, so there is no need to exaggerate my skills. I hope to communicate with you more, recognize myself clearly and put myself in the right position.
second, you said that last month you interviewed two people who were the same as I wrote, and you let them go after a month. It was your fault that you trusted their resumes during the interview, and you came to the company for half a month and couldn't do anything, and went to the director to complain. From the perspective of respect for technology, I think you with ten years of work experience should not easily make the judgment that they OK and dig a hole for yourself, or maybe I do have a misunderstanding about technology.
third, you have also pointed out their problems. When it comes to work, it is impossible to teach them step by step. Four years of college should learn the ability to learn independently and solve problems independently. Remember that you are a developer, not a robot. I will only give you business logic and direction, not instructions. I quite agree with this. After all, developers need to have their own judgment when dealing with machines and customers' needs and behaviors, rather than letting others manipulate them like computers.
fourth, it is true that many people are too impetuous nowadays, hoping for quick success and quick success, which is also determined by this society, but I think real technology developers need to settle down and lay a solid foundation, especially at a time when the front-end development field is changing with each passing day.
Fifth, for the ten years of development experience you mentioned, I think we need to look at how to deal with work and technology. After all, there are too many good open source projects and frameworks in the front-end domain. You have ten years of development experience, and you are always much more advanced than a rookie like me. Please give me more advice when you have the opportunity.
finally, thank you for your attention and comments on the issue. I sincerely hope that you can give me more suggestions and technical requirements. I would appreciate it!
Please include more offense!

such good conditions still need guidance, and those of us who come from training are even more confused. Normal mind, as said upstairs, which company you like to vote for

prepare your resume and go to the company you like
relax and cheer

this expansion, I don't know what you're afraid of!

Yes, this resume. Yes

vue, Mini Program, resume is very gorgeous, although you are looking for a front-end job, but other knowledge points also show your learning ability, which is also the most valued by others.

looking for a job has a lot to do with luck. Don't be impatient if you don't have a chance.

salted fish like me have long been used to

what are you afraid of

you want to do a few works to put your learning content into practice
interview to show your basic level (work) and learning process (determination)
basic OJBK ~

are you here to pull hatred? I read the resume of the landlord. The learning ability of the landlord should be OK. Throw in your resume and give it a try. Just tell the interviewer what you know during the interview. There will always be people who appreciate you.

it is suggested to do data analysis and take front-end technology as a sideline of interest. The professional counterpart of data analysis, the path of promotion in the workplace is clear, the prospect is brighter than the front-end development, there is no need to cling to the front-end. Only a personal opinion.
