In order to develop well in the future, I want to write an open source project to increase my workplace opportunities. Now I have an open source idea that is not feasible.

A brief description:

1.node-minify;
2.html,css,jshash

I don"t know if it"s feasible? Or can you give me some advice?

isn't this about making wheels? what's the point of making this wheel?
if you are already working, my advice is to build wheels that combine your current business to improve your development efficiency
if you are still in school, you can build wheels that combine your interests with a certain depth

  1. it is feasible to overtake on open source corners
  2. it's not easy to open source
  3. Open source projects can only be used by people if they have core values. Only then can they survive and develop. This is the real resource
  4. .

so suggest:

  1. Don't be too simple. In similar problems, using someone else's core, it makes no sense if you don't withdraw your value;
  2. requirements are real. The real need means that someone will use it, and it means that you have the opportunity to improve and there will be problems to overcome. For you, being able to meet these challenges is in itself a great asset.
  3. requirements are around you. There are a lot of real needs, but only the needs around you can really be grasped.
Finally, don't try to take shortcuts, which is completely different from overtaking on corners. You must make enough efforts before you have a chance to succeed.
