The setting parameter threads, in webuploader does not feel effective. Does anyone know anything about this upload plug-in?

there is a setting parameter in webuploader that is the threads, official document interpretation: the number of uploads and concurrency. Can the maximum number of uploading processes allowed at the same time
be understood as the number of files uploaded at the same time? it defaults to 3. Does that mean, call the API once and submit 3 files at the same time?

if so, if this parameter is set, it still feels like the API is called once every time the file is uploaded

anyone who understands this upload plug-in can you explain it?
